NASDIS pds has a long experience in supporting design offices during the concept and basic design of a ship or an offshore vessel. Those designs were often supported by model test experimentations in the worldwide most important hydrodynamics laboratories. Several proprietary codes have been developed and validated, so that NASDIS pds is able to offer reliable predictions.
Research & Development
NASDIS pds staff was and is involved in international research projects on different fields of marine and offshore hydrodynamics, working strictly in contact with international Universities and Research laboratories. NASDIS pds is able to update continuously his in-house software and to produce new tools and solution for upcoming enquires.
Concept design
NASDIS pds offers a modern and innovative approach to ship design, transferring expertise and knowledge in hydrodynamics to the really initial phase of a naval design: the concept phase. Combining economic and production models, NASDIS pds is able to support the custumers.

NASDIS pds is cooperating with Cantiere Navale Vittoria in developping a new prototype of semidisplacement hull form suitable for patrol vessels as well as for fast supply vessels.
